By engaging to rent The Addlib Dance Studio (TADS) you, the undersigned (hereinafter referred to as the “Renter”), hereby state that you have read, fully understand, and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

 

1. RENTING THE STUDIO SPACE

Rent includes the exclusive use of the following:

• dance area

• sound system

• lights

• air conditioning system

• comfort rooms 

• maintenance

 

Other arrangements will incur additional costs based on the agreement.

 

2. PAYMENTS

The total rental fee will be calculated upon booking. A minimum of 50% payment must be made before use to confirm the booking of the studio. If a rental request will run for multiple days or sessions, a payment plan may be discussed with the management before booking confirmation.

 

3. COMMERCIAL USE OF STUDIO

If the Renter will charge an admission fee upon entrance to the studio (excluding educational activities like dance classes or other workshops), Renter must pay an additional 10% commission for its gross entrance sales. Gross sales percentage may be altered on a case-by-case basis.

Merchandise sales must be upon the approval of TADS management. If allowed, Renter must pay a 20% commission to all merchandise sales to TADS.

RADIO / TELEVISION / FILM / BROADCAST USE

If Renter is using the space for media or broadcast purposes, an addendum will be charged based on the agreement with the management.

 

4. USE OF TADS LOGO

The renter may not use "The Addlib Dance Studio" logo on their promotional materials such as, but not limited to posters, flyers, and social media posts without the consent of the management. Failure to comply will be subject to the termination of the rental reservation.

 

5. MAINTENANCE

Renter is expected to leave the studio and its amenities in the same condition it was before use in respect to the next users of the space. Large amounts of trash or any damages left behind to the property will be billed to the Renter.

 

Studio clean-up must be completed by the end of the rental period. Renter is expected to include set up and clean up in their rental time. Overtime fees will be assessed at the hourly rate and will be calculated at one-hour increments.

 

6. CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS

TADS does not allow the cancellation and modification of a reservation. The 50% down payment is non-refundable in an event of cancellation or no-show.

 

7. DAMAGES AND LIABILITY OF STUDIO PROPERTY

Renter agrees to use reasonable care to prevent damage to the property. Use of the studio and studio equipment is at Renter’s own risk. Renter hereby waives rights to seek legal redress for mishaps, accidents, and/or loss while on the studio premises. The renter is responsible for any damages to the studio property and equipment during the period of the rental. Renter agrees to pay in full for repair or replacement of any item or structure damaged by the renters or by performers, collaborators, students, or guests invited by the Renter. Full payment shall be made within one month of the damage.

 

Renter understands if the studio representative observes dangerous or negligent practices, behaviors, or activities, the studio representative reserves the right to stop the event or activities and requires the Renter and the Renter’s guests to leave immediately. However, the studio representative assumes no responsibility to act in such cases. There will be no refund given for these types of cases.

 

Renter agrees to hold harmless The Addlib Dance Studio and all the parties lawfully in possession of the property, against any claims of any party arising out of or based upon personal injuries, death, or property damage suffered by such party and resulting directly from any act of negligence on the Renter's part in connection with the use of the property and the work described herein.

 

Renter presence is completely voluntary upon entering the premises at 2nd Floor, New Frontier Theater Arcade, Araneta City, 7 General Malvar Avenue, Brgy. Socorro, Quezon City 1109. Renter agrees to hold The Addlib Dance Studio, The Addlib Inc., its officers, directors, staff, employees, and independent contractors, volunteer helpers, and The Araneta Center 100% harmless for any injury that may result from Renter’s use of the property.
