Novy Bereber is a Filipino-Australian choreographer and designer from Iloilo City. He started his career in dance with Dagyaw Theatre Dance Company under Edwin C. Duero.

Novy had a distinguished career as a soloist of Ballet Philippines and is the only choreographer of his generation to have created works for all the three major ballet companies in the Philippines: Ballet Philippines, Ballet Manila, and Philippine Ballet Theatre.

Currently based in Sydney, Australia, Novy is also a certified Pilates instructor and the first Filipino practitioner in Australia of the revolutionary new therapy, Dance for Parkinson’s Disease (DPD). This year also marks the birth of Novy’s independent contemporary company, Bereber Dance Theatre.

Novy was awarded Young Filipino Artist of the Year by the Filipino Communities of Australia (FILLCA) in 2016 and 2017.

March of 2019, he debuted his stilettos exhibition: ‘"Stiletto NB" at the NSW Art Gallery.

Aside from his career as a designer and artistic director, Novy also teaches Contemporary, Ballet, Lyrical, and Jazz at Sydney Dance School. One of his advocacies involve teaching dance for Parkinson's Australia.
