SPECTRUM RETURNS AS SPEC2RUM: NEW LOOK, BIGGER MAGNITUDE
Anyone can dance! Behind this golden mantra, The Addlib Dance Studio (TADS) launched its first-ever summer dance workshop in 2019, short of a year after its grand opening. The goal: bring dance to anyone and everyone. SPECTRUM was born and it introduced one of the most competitive diverse lineup of classes, by genuine bearers of techniques, skills, and the passion for sharing their talents.
Some of the best dance teachers and choreographers were hailed to complete the task.
Dancers from different walks of life gathered together: some to learn new routines, some to revive old sleeping dance senses. TADS, however, not only catered to experienced students but especially to total beginners. And to celebrate everyone’s achievements, the event culminated into one grand concert recital at the New Frontier Theater last June 11, 2019.
The success of their vision together with the students and teachers' wonderful heartfelt performance at the concert solidified TADS as the newest “vibrant and dynamic dance, fitness, and events hub in the heart of the metro” — everyone’s “rainbow home.”
The previous events manifested a hunger for an avenue of dance where students have access to ALL STYLES—from Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Urban, Latin, Dancehall, K-Pop and many more. Now, with the promise of diversity and quality, TADS’ Summer Dance Workshop is the most awaited summer dance event of the year.
This 2020, it is back to give “Your Best Summer” as SPEC2RUM, where you can set your goals with clear 20/20 vision with The Addlib Dance Studio together with the country's PHiercest – The Addlib – the VIBE PH Dance Competition (Year 4) Champions and official Philippine representative to VIBE Dance Competition XXV (in Costa Mesa, California this March 2020).
Enrollment begins on January 19, 2020 (Sunday) with the Early Bird Registration running until February 29 (Saturday):
With the most diverse lineup of 28 classes, there is room for each student’s own unique taste and individuality. There are 2 batches ensuring the best dance experience: WEEKEND BATCH (Saturdays to Sundays beginning April 18, 2020) and WEEKDAY BATCH (Mondays to Fridays beginning April 20, 2020).
Just like last year, the students and teachers who have grown together and built long-lasting experiences over the summer will perform alongside each other in 1 Grand Concert Recital—SPEC2RUM on June 13, 2020.
Everyone is invited to take part in SPEC2RUM, the grand coming together of dance teachers, choreographers, and eager students for another fun-filled summer.
It does not matter if you are a master of your own craft, or if you thought dancing was a thing of your happy past. Most definitely, it does not matter if you do not have any background in dancing.
